This program is a volunteer educational program designed to meet the horticultural needs of citizens of Ohio. Its purpose is to train volunteers and use their expertise to teach people about plants, their culture, and their importance to the environment and to our quality of life.
Training classes are held on Thursdays for 8 weeks, starting in February. The classes will be 9:00am-4:00pm with an hour lunch. The cost of the class will be $85.00 to cover speakers, manuals, and hand-outs. Couples who wish to share a training manual may do so for an extra $30.00. Each class member will be responsible for getting themselves fingerprinted at a cost of $20.00.
